I've loved weather for as long as I can remember, and people for just as long. Caretra is what happened when those two obsessions met a career full of turns: small forces, compounding into something bigger.
The weather thing
I studied atmospheric science because I loved it, and it quietly shaped how I think. The forecast is always uncertain. You plan, you adjust, you commit anyway.
The people thing
I just like talking to people. Conversations, introductions, being in the room. That's where all the good stuff has come from in my career.
Where I've been
From the greater Philadelphia area, educated in Miami, started my career in Boston, currently based in New York.
Why Caretra exists
Because good careers stall when nobody helps you connect the dots. I wanted to build the thing that does.
Careers aren't ladders. Mine certainly isn't.
Every turn taught me that the map matters more than the title.

Three lessons I'd hand to anyone mid-turn
Complex problems are people problems
Whether it was a climate action plan or a sustainability disclosure, the hard part was never the data. It was aligning the humans around it. That's true of careers too.
Reinvention is a skill, not a risk
Every turn on my timeline looked unrelated from the outside. From the inside, each one compounded. Career change stops feeling scary the moment you can name what carries over.
Enjoyment is evidence
The work that energizes you is telling you something. I stopped treating that as a distraction from a serious career and started treating it as the compass for one.
