CaretraCareer Identity & Mapping

I started Caretra because your career is too important to leave undefined.

Caretra is a career identity and mapping tool. It connects your experience, working style, and transferable strengths into a map of possible paths. You define what fits and where to go next.

What I believe

Career clarity isn't a luxury. It's the foundation of doing work that fits you, and building a life that actually feels like yours.

01

Identity comes first

You can't navigate a career you can't articulate. Before job titles, before networking, before the next move, you need language for who you are and what you bring.

02

Trajectory is self-authored

No one else gets to define your path. The best careers are designed, not discovered by accident. You choose the direction, the pace, and the shape of what's next, and you're free to redesign it whenever you change.

03

Enjoyment is a signal

Liking your work isn't unprofessional, it's data. The things that energize you point toward the roles, environments, and problems where you'll do your best work.

I have loved weather for as long as I can remember, not just the forecast, but the way small forces add up to something bigger, the way a tiny shift can change everything. That curiosity pulled me into meteorology, then into climate work, then into consulting, but the real thread through all of it has always been people. I am an extrovert at my core: the kind of person who wants to talk to everyone in the room, introduce two strangers who should know each other, and build something that actually lands in the real world. Whether I was on air as a personality, serving in student government, helping develop a climate action plan, or working inside a global consultancy, I kept showing up at the same intersection: complex problems, diverse people, and the chance to make a tangible impact. Caretra came from that place, not from a résumé, but from a belief that the best careers are built by people who understand who they are and what genuinely energizes them.

The more I talked to them, the clearer it became: the problem wasn't their experience. It was the frame. Résumés ask, "What jobs have you had?" when the better question is, "What patterns run through everything you've done?"

Caretra is built around that second question. It helps you find the through line in what you've done and see where those strengths could take you, including paths you might not have considered. And because you aren't finished becoming, none of it is set in stone. You can return to that picture as your interests, experience, and priorities change.

My own path has taught me that clarity isn't something you find once and keep forever. It's something you practice. Caretra is the tool I wish I'd had at every transition, and the one I hope makes your next chapter feel a little less uncertain and a lot more yours.

"The goal isn't a perfect plan. It's a career that finally feels like you."

Sound Familiar?

You know what you're good at. But do you know where it's taking you?

You've done interesting things. You can name the roles, the projects, the wins. But what are your goals, and how does your experience actually get you there? If that's harder to answer than it should be, you're in good company.

I've been there, and so is nearly everyone I built Caretra for. It was never a lack of experience. It was a missing connection between the two.

The Caretra assessment builds that connection. In about five minutes, you'll see your working style, your transferable strengths, and the paths that actually fit. And when you change, your map changes with you. It's made to be recalibrated, not framed and forgotten.

Why Caretra

I didn't build this for people like me. I built it as one of them.

Why the platform

Because "what do you do?" shouldn't be the hardest question anyone asks you.

Because résumés, job boards, and LinkedIn can flatten a whole person into their last title. Your experience deserves a fuller picture: the patterns, strengths, and possibilities that connect it.

And because "what's next?" is a terrible thing to have to guess at. You deserve a map, not more blank space.

Why me

I didn't study this. I lived it. Atmospheric science, climate policy, sustainability consulting, training AI, back to consulting, and now a founder. From the outside, none of it lines up. From the inside, every turn compounded into the next.

I've been the person with an interesting story and no clean way to tell it. I've frozen in rooms where everyone else's path sounded simpler. I've rewritten my own pitch more times than I can count.

So I'm not guessing at what this feels like. I know exactly how it feels to have the experience but not the map. That's why Caretra exists, and why I refuse to believe anyone should have to figure it out alone.

Wherever you are on your road, first turn or decades in, we're working on the same problem. Let's map it together.

What Makes Caretra Different

There's nothing else like it, and it's all in one place.

01

One stop, start to finish

Your strengths, possible paths, roadmap, opportunities, and positioning drafts connect in one place. They build on the same picture of you, so you can explore a new direction without starting from scratch each time.

02

Identity before job titles

Caretra starts with the patterns in your experience, not a vacancy or a prescribed destination. Your map connects those patterns to possible roles and sectors, with the transferable capabilities and gaps visible. You decide which possibilities fit.

03

A map that moves with you

Career identity isn't a fixed label. With Caretra Live, update your experience, goals, or preferences and redraw your map around what changed. Keep earlier versions so you can see how your own direction evolves.

A map, not a mandate. Caretra makes the connections visible. The direction stays yours.

Where are you right now?

Two years in and twenty years in are different problems.

Caretra does not just change the wording. Your priorities, roadmap, decisions, and next action reshape around the professional you are now.

3 to 5 years · Coherence and positioning

Turn the work you have done into a story that points somewhere.

You can name your wins. What is harder is saying where they add up to. The map connects your experience to paths you have not considered.

Careers aren't ladders. Mine certainly isn't.

From atmospheric science to climate policy to consulting and back again, every turn taught me that the map matters more than the title.
